White City Motel operated from the 1940's to 2003 when it was demolished.

Started as a Rocket Drive In, then it changed hands several times and had also been known as Waids, Fisherman's Cove and DEB's Diner. Today, it is the parking lot of QT.

This isn't the actual same one. This one was in Grandview or someplace like that, but the architectural design is exactly the same. The Riverside location was eventually added on to the right end.

The map with the black dot on the bottom right is from 1930 and the topography map from 1940. I wanted it so it showed the interurban route, but it also shows how the Missouri River changed course.
